See where your audience converts and where people drop off
Use this calculator to turn audience reach, clicks, and conversions into a simple funnel you can understand.
You may have a large audience but still get weak business results if few people click or if visitors do not convert after clicking.
The calculator separates those stages so you can see whether the main problem is getting attention, getting clicks, or turning visits into buyers, subscribers, leads, or bookings.
Use numbers from the same campaign or time period. For example, do not combine one month of views with lifetime conversions.
How audience conversion is calculated
The calculator breaks your funnel into three simple stages.
Start with audience reached
Enter how many people saw the content or campaign.
Add clicks or visits
This shows how many people moved from attention to action.
Add final conversions
Enter purchases, signups, bookings, paid subscribers, or whatever final action matters to you.
Add revenue and cost if available
The calculator can then show revenue per conversion, cost per conversion, profit, and campaign return.
Example audience conversion calculation
Suppose a creator promotes a digital product:
5,000 clicks from 100,000 people gives a 5% audience-to-click rate. 250 conversions from 5,000 clicks gives a 5% click-to-conversion rate. Total audience-to-conversion rate is 0.25%. Revenue per conversion is $30. At a 6% target conversion rate, 300 conversions would be expected, so 50 additional conversions are needed.
What each result means
Each conversion rate answers a different question.
Audience-to-click rate
The percentage of people reached who clicked or visited the next step.
Click-to-conversion rate
The percentage of visitors who completed the final action.
Audience-to-conversion rate
The percentage of the total audience that became final conversions.
Revenue per conversion
Average revenue generated by one conversion.
Cost per conversion
Campaign or content cost divided by final conversions.
Audience conversion questions
Simple answers to common creator funnel questions.
What counts as a conversion?
A conversion is the final action you care about, such as a purchase, paid subscription, email signup, booking, application, or lead.
Why calculate both click rate and conversion rate?
Because they diagnose different problems. Low click rate can point to weak content, positioning, or calls to action, while low post-click conversion can point to the landing page, offer, price, or trust.
Can I use this for newsletter signups?
Yes. Audience reached could be views or visitors, clicks could be landing-page visits, and conversions could be new email subscribers.
Can I use this for product sales?
Yes. Use visitors or clicks as the middle stage and purchases as conversions.
What is a good conversion rate?
There is no universal rate. It depends on audience intent, traffic source, offer, price, platform, niche, and how demanding the conversion action is.
